Watchdog: Ex-FBI director Comey made 'serious error' in Clinton probe disclosures

Lynch WASHINGTON (Reuters) – Former FBI Director James Comey made a “severe error of judgment” when he introduced in a while prior to the 2016 U.S. presidential election that he was once reopening an investigation into candidate Hillary Clinton’s use of a non-public electronic mail server, the Justice Department’s inside watchdog stated on Thursday. The 500-page file by way of Inspector General Michael Horowitz concluded that Comey didn’t show off any political bias or attempt to affect the election.
