W. Kamau Bell: I know what it's like to get kicked out for being black

As a black guy who was once kicked out of a espresso store in 2015, I had some ideas when I heard in regards to the two black males being kicked out and arrested for loitering in a Starbucks in Philadelphia not too long ago. For the document, I wasn’t kicked out of a Starbucks. I was once kicked out of The Elmwood Cafe, an independently owned and operated espresso store in Berkeley, California. While the correct (alt and another way) would have you ever imagine that Berkeley is the liberal utopia, the ones folks who are living out right here know that isn’t true — no less than we are hoping this is not what a liberal utopia is.
