U.S. judge refuses to dismiss ex-Trump aide Manafort's criminal case

Lynch WASHINGTON (Reuters) – A federal judge dealt President Donald Trump’s former marketing campaign supervisor Paul Manafort a significant blow on Tuesday via refusing to dismiss criminal fees introduced via Special Counsel Robert Mueller, after Manafort claimed that Mueller’s probe has run amok and must be reined in. In a pointy rebuke of the ones claims, Judge Amy Berman Jackson of U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia dominated that Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein had adopted all of the Justice Department’s laws when he employed Mueller and Mueller’s case towards Manafort isn’t overly extensive or unsuitable.
