U.S. groups sue Trump administration over water protections

(Reuters) – Environmental groups sued the Trump administration on Wednesday difficult strikes they are saying weaken protections for rivers, wetlands and different waterways. The movements practice an government order through President Donald Trump in February 2017 that directed the Environmental Protection Agency to paintings towards rescinding a blank water rule issued underneath President Barack Obama in 2015. Nine conservation organizations together with the Center for Biological Diversity and regional groups in California and Idaho filed the lawsuit U.S. District Court Northern District of California.
