U.S. appeals court revives 9/11 workers' debris exposure claims

A federal appeals court on Wednesday revived claims towards the Battery Park City Authority through 18 employees who changed into sick after cleansing up debris on the World Trade Center web site following the Sept. 11, 2001 assaults. The 2d U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Manhattan rejected the company’s problem to “Jimmy Nolan’s Law,” a 2009 state regulation giving injured nine/11 employees an additional 12 months to hunt repayment from public entities even supposing the statute of obstacles has run out.
