Trump fails to halt 'Apprentice' contestant's defamation lawsuit


By Jonathan Stempel NEW YORK (Reuters) – A New York state appeals court docket on Thursday denied U.S. President Donald Trump’s bid to halt a defamation lawsuit through a former contestant on his fact TV display “The Apprentice” who accused him of creating undesirable sexual advances. In a one-page order, the Appellate Division in Manhattan didn’t give an explanation for why it refused to keep the lawsuit through Summer Zervos whilst the president appeals a March 20 decrease court docket ruling that allowed the California restaurateur to pursue her case.
