Yahya Sinwar, the Hebrew-speaking chief of Hamas in Gaza who spent 22 years in Israeli jail, is understood extra for stealth army motion than speech-making. When Palestinians introduced the still-running sequence of Friday protests alongside the Gaza-Israel fence this spring, Mr. Sinwar vowed to stay the protests going till the border itself was once breached.
