(Reuters) – Subtropical typhoon Alberto is transferring slowly and inconsistently over the northwestern Caribbean Sea and is anticipated to strengthen progressively over the next 48 hours because it heads to the Gulf of Mexico, the U.S. National Hurricane Center (NHC) stated in its newest advisory on Friday. The typhoon is situated about 100 miles (160 km) south-south east of Cozumel, Mexico, packing most sustained winds of 40 mph (65 kph), the Miami-based climate forecaster stated.
