Hey guys it’s time to talk about the future of samsung before I get into this I want to apologize because what I about to show you might make you wait for this phone. Look the Galaxy S9 is right around the corner. It’s going to be S8 or S kinda upgrade you are getting. Slightly changed design faster processor and amazing camera which will probably be the most awesome feature of this phone. That’s about it, it’s a perfect setup improvement for the people who wants to upgrade from their Galaxy S8 to experience the dual camera feature but still the phone looks pretty much the same.
Samsung Galaxy S10 specs :
Because samsung is saving their all big design changes for their 10th anniversary for the Samsung Galaxy S10. You guys remember I talked about samsung galaxy zero almost quite weeks ago. The secret Galaxy Z that Samsung is working on which will feature 100% screen body ratio. Well that phone isn’t a secret phone isn’t actually a separate phone. It’s the future of the Galaxy S series and the Note series. Samsung will go 100% screen body ratio with it’s 2019 S10 and the Note 10. That is the big surprise for the 10th anniversary phone. It’s a special number 10th Galaxy S phone in the world it’s hard to believe. It’s crazy that much time has passed, samsung didn’t even skip any numbers so it’s clearly the 10th anniversary of samsung S lineup. It has to so special because it leaves everything behind. It has start a new era of samsung S smartphones.
Samsung Galaxy S10 Patents :
Recently we got a new patent from samsung spotted by let’s go digital which shows a 100% screen body ratio phone with holes in display for the front camera and the home button and other sensors like 3d facial scanner and Irish scanner etc. Now for 100% body ratio this is only way to go for. Apple has the notch, the current Galaxy phones have some forms of bezels. But achieving the full body ratio the sensors and the home button stuff has to go in glass.
This shows that samsung will achieve it with the help of holes built in the actual display. You can the camera, sensors and home buttons are in the glass. The content they have shown us is in displaying the apps pages.
You can see they have shown us on the left the photo example on the whole display of course it is interrupted by the holes. They are taking their place. On the right image shows us a smaller display area omitting the cut outs.
Then we have the phone dialer example we have the full display. But holes are taking their places. Similar in the home page area. I know they are bit questionable but like the notch people will eventually ignore them.
You can see the black bars while watching the video content. There is a even YouTube app example we have the app interface. On the top right below the holes we have the reminder information. That is a nice implementation on that extra screen. Then we got the browser look. The lock screen and the home screen. They all looks pretty amazing. The last of the file shows the holes are not just holes they do have some kind of touch implementations. Touch arrival in the holes perform function. The touch patterns are listed here. Pretty interesting how it’s going to be implemented in real final actual 10th phone. Samsung is very serious about this. They know eventually that we are moving towards the true bezel less era of smartphones. There is no way that the notch will be used that’s the apple way.
They won’t copy Apple. This is how they are going to do.
Now it is the patent. They have a full year to perfect this. And work on possibilities. But it does show us a claims over on which samsung is planning for their 10th Galaxy 10th anniversary.
There is a second new patent as well with not much details. There is couple of sketches of that. In this patent we can see a photo with essential kind of notch with a home button. Power button on the top. Speakers, charging port on bottom. On the back we can see circular camera on the back. I don’t know what the hell is this for.
But one thing is for sure Samsung is planning to go 100% screen body ratio in its 10th anniversary.
So yeah guys that’s for today. Now tell me in comment section what you think about this that’s for today. See you in my next article.
