Ex-New York town official found not guilty in bribery case


A former town official in New York’s Nassau County used to be found not guilty on Thursday of taking bribes from a restaurateur, as jurors endured to weigh the destiny of the county’s former best elected government charged in the similar case. Former Oyster Bay Town Supervisor John Venditto used to be acquitted following an ordeal in federal courtroom in Central Islip, New York, in step with John Marzulli, a spokesman for federal prosecutors.
