A Noah's Ark of animals rescued from Hawaii lava


When masses of citizens of Hawaii’s Big Island fled their properties after the Kilauea volcano erupted, some left in the back of no longer simplest maximum of their assets, but additionally their liked pets. In the 2 weeks since fountains of lava and toxic fuel spewed from the volcano, volunteers have made heroic efforts to retrieve a veritable Noah’s Ark of canines and cats, ducks and geese, cows and goats, horses, livestock and unique birds. Many have been reuniting with their homeowners at evacuation shelters.
